Project Engineer / Manager
Job Description
Our company Whizpace Pte Ltd (www.whizpace.com) is a spinoff from A*STAR specializing in long-range wireless communication solutions with applications for Smart Nation, IoT and rural Internets. The company is looking for a Project Engineer / Manager. The candidate filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties. As the company is a startup, the candidate is expected to be self-driven and work in a fast-pace environment, this will give the candidate a rare opportunity to be exposed to the operation of the whole company and widen the horizons of the candidate.
Responsibilities

Liaising with customers on network deployment projects

Translating customer requirements into technical and system requirements

Writing proposals to address the needs of the customers

Responsible for trials, proof-of-concepts, pilots, deployments & project deliveries

Hands-on skills in field applications

Front-line contact for customer feedback and issues
Requirements
-
Bachelor or Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent
-
2-5 years of working experience. Candidate with more working experience may be considered Project Manager role

Experience with wireless system deployments, network configurations, programming and relevant technical skills

Familiar with project proposals writing, customer engagement and costing
-
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, teamwork and eager to do better than others are all essential to this position
